For high school, students can choose to attend either Point Loma High School or San Diego High School. The private Francis Parker School, founded in 1912, is located here. The University of San Diego is the nearest higher education institution, at least than a mile north of the neighborhood. The San Diego International Airport, a major hub for Southern California, is just minutes south of the community and is easily reachable.
